Arnav is actively engaged during class discussions, and is quick to ask questions when he needs clarification. Arnav has also performed excellently in the recent exam with a score of 52/70. This is the highest score set in recent years. When marking his paper, I can see the areas which let him down are his knowledge of theory content. Chemistry is both a conceptual and also content-heavy subject. A lot of attention is given to the accuracy of a student’s theory knowledge. Arnav is encouraged to create a systematic revision schedule which involves theory study aided by flashcards and also attempting a wide range of practice questions to hone exam technique. Homework Completion Status Comment Unsatisfactory / Good / Excellent Arnav has had a satisfactory homework performance. There are a few missed homeworks which Arnav should catch up on in due time. Overall comment Arnav is a very talented student. I believe Arnav’s success so far can be credited to his sound understanding of chemistry, as well as his ability to logically deconstruct a question. There is however a gap in the thoroughness to which he has revised his theory content. I have no doubt that with regular revision, Arnav will really stand out from his peers. I am excited to observe his progress.
