ENROLLMENT
Entrance Prerequisites
High school diploma or equivalency Mature students of 18+ or older Registration Form submission Personal
interview held at the Institute
Applications to the Advanced Aesthetics Diploma Program at Chellsey Institute are accepted throughout the
year. Early enrollment is recommended as class size is limited to 15 students.
Course Duration and Schedule:
Students are required to complete 1000 hours of training for the Advanced Aesthetics Program.
Laser Technology students are required to complete 100 hours of training.
Classes begin at varying times throughout the year.

Afternoon Class: Monday to Friday 1:15pm -- 5:30pm
Advanced Aesthetics Diploma
This is a diploma program designed to meet the increased standards and market demand for total body and face aesthetic services. The
curriculum is made up of 8 different components and totals 1040 hours. You may study full-time or you can choose to enroll part-time and
attend classes during the day or evening. See the individual course curriculum for more details.
Esthetic Services
Provide the following services in keeping with all professional standards and your current qualifications:
Facial
Manicure
Pedicure
Body Massage & Spa Treatments
Skin Analysis and Care plan development
Hair removal (Waxing)
Make-up application
Sales and Customer Service
Customer Focus: Provide all services thinking of the customer first. Ask yourself how they would feel before any task. Ask yourself how
what you are doing benefits the customer. Explain procedure before and during their occurrence.
Record Keeping: Prepare and/or update a Client Treatment Card after each visit. Use the client treatment card when the client calls to
book another appointment to show that you remember them. When time permits, proactively contact clients to recommend a visit.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrate initiative to gain product knowledge through reading and attending product knowledge seminars
offered by the manufacturer.
Sales: Always recommend follow-up services and skincare products prior to completion of the clients bill for service.
Results Oriented: Visualize the result you are looking for and use this as a guideline for how you achieve the result. This includes the
treatment to the customer, selling additional products and services and all maintenance activities.

She is the guiding spirit of the Chellsey Institute and is known fondly by her
students and clients as Ms. Margaret. She brings more than 20-years of experience
across several different fields in the aesthetics industry.
Rhonda Borean, Admissions & Student Advisor
Rhonda provides excellent customer service to students through
the application and enrollment process and then advises them on
job skills and business acumen right through to graduation.
Vesna Delic, Instructor
Vesna uniquely combines her caring attitude and teaching abilities with
the strong leadership skills necessary to make students feel secure in
their new environments.
Diana Mikhailian, Senior Instructor
She has a way of making the world look even more beautiful. Since her childhood
in Iran where her large and extended family consisted mainly of artists and
painters who had immigrated from Russia, Diana has dreamed of traveling the
world following her passion of teaching and practicing her makeup, beauty, and
fashion skills.
Kim Whiteford , Instructor
She has been a practicing aesthetician for over 18-years and for a number of years has
owned and operated her own spa and aesthetics studio in downtown Toronto.
Marinna Calo, Medical & Laser Instructor
She completed her Medical & Advanced Aesthetics Diploma program at
Chellsey Institute in 2006 and has since been working as a Skin Laser & Skin
Therapist, Medical Assistant Manager for a leading laser clinic in
Mississauga.
