2. Traviata rose and kept her eyes on Leap, who stood there in shock.
“WHAT….WHEN…HOW?!” was all he could manage to stutter.
“You’re surprised?...I was too.” Traviata turned to face the window.
3. After a few long moments, Traviata finally spoke.
“When you took away my wand, I knew I was for sure going to die. I may be a
witch, but without my wand, I have no power at all.”
“When you pressed that button, intense fear came over me…I was scared out of
my mind. But as the flames started burning around me, I felt….nothing. Not a
single pain.”
4. “Of course, I learned quickly that I needed to make it look like I was dying. So I
screamed. And I screamed.” Traviata smiled. “I was quite convincing, wasn’t I? I
almost made myself believe it.”
“As soon as the flames all burned out later that night…I quietly sneaked out of the
house. I grabbed my broom and flew to the magical world where I quickly had
another wand made.”
5. “I figured out pretty quickly why I survived those flames. You see, there are three different types of witches. Level 3 witches can only
mix potions. They have no wand and no power except that which they can create in a cauldron.”
“Most witches are level 2 witches. They own wands and can perform a full range of spells with that wand, but they are limited by the
wand, as they have to have the wand to perform the spells.”
“Level 1 witches are the most powerful. They are not limited by cauldrons or wands. They can do any sort of magic they want, with or
without a wand. Of course, they normally use wands as non-wand spells take a lot of energy, but if need be, they can do anything they
want without a wand.” Traviata paused, before adding, “There is only one Level 1 witch in existence. At least, we thought that was the
case. But now, now I know differently. Being a Level 1 Witch makes me one of the most powerful witches in the universe. “
6. “So what are we going to do with this newfound power.”
Traviata snapped her head and looked at Leap angrily.
7. “You think I came back here so you could make use of my powers? YOU TRIED TO KILL ME!!!!”
“The only reason I came back here was to show you that you FAILED to kill me. You are FAILURE
Leap Year. You failed with February, and you failed with January. I could kill you right now if I wanted
to, but I’m not because you’re not a serious threat anymore. I’m just going to leave you here to fail
some more.”
8. Traviata turned to leave. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some things to take care of.”

9. The weather began to turn warmer in Time Riviera and flowers bloomed all over the city. Spring had arrived.
10. It was the perfect day for a wedding as family and friends gathered to witness the union of Payton Time and Kenya Wilkie.
11. February smiled as she watched her new daughter-in-law take her place at the
alter. Her son looked so handsome, and so happy today. She was so glad that
he had found her.
12. Payton took his bride’s hand and started his vows.
“Kenya, from the day of our first date, I knew you were the most special woman in the world. Your zest for life and your
determination shines through in everything that you do. I was the luckiest man in the world the day that you agreed to
become my wife. I promise to spend the rest of my life showing you how special you are. I promise to love you, and cherish
you, for better and for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as we both shall live.”
13. Kenya reached up and softly placed her hand over Payton’s.
“Payton, you are the smartest, funniest, and craziest guy that I’ve ever met. Your love for magic tricks has taught me that
anything is possible if I just believe. I am truly honored and overjoyed that I am standing here before you, about to become
your wife. I promise to love you, and cherish you, for better and for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health,
as long as we both shall live.”
14. Payton took his new wife into his arms and sealed their union with a kiss.
15. The audience clapped, including twins Shelby and Savannah, who had new matching dresses for the occasion.
“Savannah, do you think that we’ll get big pretty weddings one day?” Shelby asked her sister.
“I dunno. It’s not something I really think about.”
“I want a huge wedding with lots of flowers and a big gorgeous dress……” Shelby trailed off, thinking about her future
wedding.
16. Savannah hopped down from the chair as soon as she saw the adults making their way to congratulate the couple.
“Come on Shelby, let’s go ask our parents if we can go swimming.”
Shelby wasn’t listening. She was staring into space with a dreamy look on her face, still fantasizing about the day
she would get married.
“Shelby? Shelby? “SHELBY!”
“What?” Shelby snapped out of her gaze. “Oh, sure, let’s go.”
17. After much begging and promising that the water wouldn’t be too cold for them, the kids finally received
permission from their parents to go swimming. They quickly changed into their swimsuits and were in the water
as soon as the reception started.
“Hey Shelby! Look at the flip I can do!” Savannah dived into the water and quickly performed a small somersault.
Savannah was a natural in the water and loved to see what sort of stuff she could do while swimming.
18. “That’s cool, Savannah. I don’t think I could do that.” Unlike her sister, Shelby
preferred staying on top of the water, and just swimming around.
“Hey, let’s play Marco Polo,” she suggested. The idea was a hit with all the kids.
19. For the next hour, the kids swam around playing whatever water game they felt like.
20. March smiled as she and Valerie stood by the pool, watching the kids play.
“At least they’ll be worn out when we get home tonight,” she told her sister-in-law.
“I have no doubt about that. I’ll probably be wiped out, too.” Valerie was pregnant
again with her 6th child and already feeling the effects of pregnancy. “We should
probably get the kids out soon, we don’t want them getting to cold.”
“That’s probably a good idea.” March raised her voice and shouted. “ALL KIDS WHO
ARE NOT OUT OF THE POOL IN FIVE MINUTES AREN’T GETTING ANY
WEDDING CAKE.” She laughed. “That will get them out in no time.”
21. Five minutes later, Payton and Kenya gathered to cut their wedding cake. Kenya cut the cake
delicately, careful not to get any on her wedding dress. She carefully lifted a piece out and prepared
to feed Payton.
22. “Hey! How come they get to play with their food?” Shelby asked as she walked by, watching the couple.
23. Despite her carefulness not to spill any cake on her dress, Kenya had no apparent qualms about
getting cake on her husband’s suit.
24. After the cake was gone, Payton turned on his MP3 player, and led his new bride to the dance
floor. Unlike their first date, this time he guided her in a slow, easy waltz. The wind gently blew
Kenya’s veil as the two swayed to the music.
The two had no idea how long they stayed together dancing. It could have been minutes, but it
could have been hours. Eventually, the other couples joined them on the dance floor.
25. Hours later as the reception wrapped up, all the guests began to leave. After making sure
that everything was cleaned up, March hugged brother good-bye.
“Congratulations again, Payton. I’m glad you found Kenya. I know she makes you happy.”
“She does. You don’t have to worry about that.”
March rounded up the rest of her family and left, leaving the newlyweds alone for the
night.
26. When March got home, she went straight to the nursery to tuck her daughter in. However, she found April wide awake
playing with her bunny.
March chuckled. She would have to remind the baby-sitter of March’s bedtime again.
“Come on, Sweetie. Let’s get you to bed.”
April wiped her hand over her obviously tired eye. “No night tim……..” Before she could finish her sentence, she was sound
asleep. March carefully placed her in her bed and then turned out the lights.
“Good Night, Baby Girl,” she whispered before leaving the room.
**********
27. The next morning at breakfast, Luke asked if he could go play with his cousins
after school. “Pllleeeaaaassseee, Mom? I never ever get to see them. Pretty
please?”
28. March laughed and decided not to remind Luke that he had just seen his cousins
yesterday at the wedding. “Sure, I don’t see why not.”
“Thanks!”
30. Shelby lay on the ground as she stared dreamily at the clouds.
“Hey guys, what do you think it’s like in the sky? I think it would be fun to go up there in an
airplane or something. It would be like floating on clouds.”
31. Luke and Savannah weren’t listening. They had set up a lemonade stand to play pretend, but a
disagreement had soon developed.
“It’s no fair!!” Luke whined. “I wanna be the salesman.”
“I told you, Luke. You’re going to be the customer. A good store needs customers, and Shelby
won’t play.”
“No. I wanna be the salesman.”
“Well you can’t. So get over it.”
32. Shelby sat up and looked over at the two. “Come on, guys, play nice.
Savannah, you know Mom and Dad won’t let us play with Luke if you two are
fighting like that.”
33. The other kids ignored Shelby as their squabble turned into a full-fledged argument.
“WHY DO YOU ALWAYS GET TO BE THE SALESMAN. IT’S NOT FAIR.”
“IT’S MY HOUSE! THAT’S WHY!”
“BUT I’M OLDER. AND ANYWAY, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT GUYS MAKE BETTER SALESMANS
ANYWAY”
“UH-UH! GIRLS CAN DO ANYTHING GUYS CAN DO ONLY 10x BETTER!
34. “EVERYONE BE QUIET!” yelled Cole as he walked in on the argument. “Seriously, guys. I come in to
see if you wanna play on the jungle gym in the backyard and I find you two arguing. Come on let’s play.
“No!” both Luke and Savannah shouted simultaneously.
“I wanna go play…” Shelby whimpered.
“Come on, guys. You can’t keep fighting all day. Just let it go and come play with me and Shelby.”
Savannah thought for a moment and then sighed, “Fine.” Not to be outdone, Luke snapped “Fine!” in return.
35. Ten minutes later the kids were all playing in the backyard and all seemed to have been forgotten, at least temporarily.
36. That night after dinner, March went to check on Luke in his room.
“Hey, Mommy!” he said brightly as his mother walked in.
March smiled at her son. “I just came to see if you had fun today at your cousins’
house.”
Luke’s face darkened. “I guess,” he stammered.
37. “Did something happen today when you were over there?”
“Nothing besides Savannah being stupid and bossy and mean.”
“Luke Time! What did I say about calling people stupid.”
“Sorry, Mommy.”
“Come here,” March urged softly.
38. March pulled her son into a hug. “Look, I know you might not always get along with your
cousins, but they can be your best friends if you want. Just try to be nice to them, for me,
okay?”
“Okay, Mommy. I promise.”
39. Later that night, February entered the garage to wait for her husband to return
from work. She didn’t know why but she had a funny feeling inside of her. She
decided that she needed to tell Zai that she loved him one more time.
Zai’s car pulled up and Zai hopped out. February smiled as she started to cross
the garage toward her husband.
40. Before she could get to him, a figure appeared in front of her. February’s heart
sunk. Death was here to collect her husband.
Zai sighed. “I guess it’s my time, then, huh?”
Grimmy only nodded.
Zai looked at February. “I love you February Time, don’t you ever forget that.”
February nodded, tears running down her cheek. “I love you Zai.”
41. Moments later her husband was nothing but a grave, lying on the cold garage floor.
Grimmy, having finished what he was there to do, disappeared, leaving February alone.
42. Everyone in the house responded differently to Zai’s death. April, who
understood the least, drew pretty pictures to make her mommy and grandma
feel better.
43. Luke responded with anger. It wasn’t fair that his grandpa had to die. It wasn’t
fair! He should have had more time with his grandpa.
Luke stared at the toybox for a moment, and then decided to kick it.
44. “Owww!” he screamed in pain. Okay so maybe that wasn’t the best idea. But it
still wasn’t fair.
45. March responded by cleaning. She felt better when she was taking care of her
house and her family.
46. She was making dinner one night when, all of a sudden, tears started rolling
down her cheek. March didn’t know where they were coming from, and she
couldn’t stop them.
47. March stopped and turned around. She put her hands to her face to try to wipe
the tears from her eyes, but it was no use, the tears kept coming.
48. As February walked into the kitchen, she noticed her daughter standing the in
the kitchen, crying. February missed her husband so much, but she could tell her
daughter was grieving more.
49. “It’s okay, honey,” she whispered to her daughter, trying to console her.
“No it’s not, Mom.” March paused and then added. “I’m pregnant.”
50. February pulled March we’re in a hug. No words were needed to express the
sadness that this baby would never get to meet her grandfather. They both knew
that this child, the 3rd born, would have a lot to go through in it’s lifetime, making
it all the more sorrowful.
51. February finished dinner for March and cleaned up afterwards. On her way to bed, she stopped by the nursery to check on
April. The child was sleeping soundly in her crib. February reached down and stroked her hair, and the quietly slipped out of
the room.

52. Faye Time was trying to work on something on the computer, but her mind was filled with thoughts of her daughter. She
hadn’t heard from Maya since her postcard had come a while ago. He heart ached with emptiness for her only daughter.
Ding-Dong.
Faye looked up curiosly at the sound of the doorbell ringing. She and Joshua rarely received unannounced visitors. But it
was probably just a salesman or something.
53. Faye’s heart leapt as she arrived at the door and saw what awaited her. There
stood her daughter, holding a small little girl.
“Maya.” February whispered as she stared at her only daughter with tears in her
eyes.
54. February was grinning as Maya stepped in.
“Hello, Mom.” Maya’s voice was serious and unsure. “I’d like you too meet my
daughter, Brianna.”
Faye stared sweetly at her grandaughter. “May I hold her?”
“Of course.”
55. As soon as Brainna was in Faye’s arms, she frowned at Maya. “What happened
to you in Twikki? You we’re gone for a long time with only a simple postcard to
let us know where you are.”
Maya sighed. “It’s a long story.”
“Well then it’s a good thing I have a while.”
56. Faye set Brianna down on the floor to play and she immediately crawled over to
Chester.
“Doggie!” she cried, hugging the mutt.
57. As soon as they sat down and Maya shrugged. “Well, I guess it started at graduation. I knew you wanted me to come home,
get married, and start a family, but I wasn’t ready to do that. I wanted to travel and see the world. I had a little bit of money
saved up, so when I saw an ad for a Twikki island vacation, I jumped on the chance. Shortly after I checked in, I headed to
the beach. That’s where I met Talin…….”
58. “……and that’s how I ended up married, with a daughter. It’s funny how
everything I was running away from seemed to happen after all.”
“Is Talin a good father to Brianna?”
59. “Talin’s a wonderful father. He dotes on Brianna even more than I do. She’s quickly
becoming a daddy’s girl.”
60. When it was time for her to leave, Faye hugged her daughter tight, holding her for a good
period of time before finally letting go. “Thank you for coming back.” Faye had everything
she wanted, her daughter was home.
61. The family soon gathered again to celebrate April’s birthday. April had been toddling around all day, exclaiming “BIRTHDAY!”
to anyone and everyone she came across. The toddler was more than excited to finally join her older brother as a child.
“Blow out the candles, April,” February told her as she bounced her in front of the cake. February leaned down so April was
closer to the cake and April took a deep breath. She exhaled as hard as she could and all four candles went out. April
noticed her accomplishment and her face lit up.
March smiled at her daughter’s face. She was trying to cherish every moment; April was growing up so fast.
62. February sat April down on the floor and the little toddler looked around to make sure everyone was looking at her. As soon
as she was sure that everyone was watching, she took the leap into childhood.
63. February cheered as April became a child.
“Hey! Where did my hair go?” April exclaimed as soon as she transitioned.
“Why don’t you go change into your clothes that I bought you, and then I’’ll help
you fix your hair?” March suggested.
“Sure, Mom!”
64. As soon as she was ready, April sat down and ate her birthday cake. As soon as she
finished, she went to check out her new room.
65. When John went to tuck his daughter into bed that night, he found her digging
through her toybox.
“Okay, April, time to go to bed.”
“Just one minute!” April called. “I’m trying to find the horse that Luke gave me.”
66. As soon as she located the horse and set it on her desk, April ran over to her dad.
“Guess what Daddddyyyy?? Guess what? Luke gave me this pretty horse for my birthday and he told me that one day I
could learn to ride a real horse and we could take lessons together and that you and Mommy would buy me a real horse. Are
you going to buy me a real horse, Daddy??”
John chuckled. “I don’t think you want your own horse, sweetie. You’re a little young to take care of it. But maybe when
you’re a little older, your Mom and I will look into getting you lesson. Now, however, is one little girl’s bedtime.”
“Okay, Daddy!”
67. April ran over to her bed and climbed under the covers. She fell fast
asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
68. John reached over and turned off the light. He tooked April in a kissed her good.
“Sleep tight,” he whispered to her before quietly sneaking out of the room.
69. Meanwhile, Payton and Kenya had found out they were expecting, but that didn’t
stop Kenya from her work. She had just been promoted and didn’t want to let her
boss down.
“Push back the Landers meeting and move forward the Providence meeting. We
need to get that contract signed as soon as possible or we’re going to lose the client.
Oh, and bring the James files by my house after work. I need to take another look at
something.”
70. Kenya glanced up at Payton walked through the door. “I’ve got to go, Mary, but make
sure you get those files to me.” Kenya hung up the phone and placed it back on the
charger, turning her attention to Payton. “Hey, you’re home early,” she said trying to
force a smile on her face.
“What’s wrong? You looked stressed.”
“It’s nothing. Just taking care of a few problems at work. Being the vice-president of a
major corporation isn’t an easy job.”
71. Payton guided her into the living room and started massaging her shoulders.“Remember to take it easy, Kenya. You don’t
want to be getting stressed out too much before the baby’s born.”
“Alright, I will. I know I shouldn’t be stressing myself out like this. Tomorrow I’ll call Susan and have her take over my client’s
while I’m on maternity leave.”
“Thanks, baby. You know I only want the best for you.”
“I know.”
**********
72. March loved Saturdays. The perfect spring weather made it a great day for the kids to play outside. March sat on the steps
and watched her kids, one hand resting softly on her pregnant belly.
“Mommmy! Watch me to do a cartwheel!” April called.
“Look at the bugs I’ve collected, Mom! I think I’ve got my biggest collection yet.”
April smiled and laughed at her children. She loved being a mother.
KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK. March’s thoughts were interrupted by a visitor at the front door. Probably the maid, coming to
clean the house.
73. March walked inside and was surpirsed to find, not the maid, but the local gypsy
at the front door. March had a funny feeling in her stomach. She and the gypsy
hadn’t spoken since the day in college, long ago, when they had made the deal.”
March opened the door. “Come in.”
74. “Can I help?” she asked as soon as the gypsy was inside.
“I have to come to talk about your daughter.”
“What about, April?”
“Not that daughter. The other one. The one that has yet to be born.”
March gasped. “How do you know it’s a girl.”
The gypsy didn’t answer. Instead, she stared straight into March’s eyes. “I have
come to warn you, this child will face many perils in her quest to kill Traviata
Marston. Many dangers indeed. In order to succeed, she must not give up, or it
could be deadly.”
75. March stared at the gypsy for a few seconds, processing what she said, before
finally snapping at the woman. “Thanks for coming, but I would appreciate it if
you stayed away. Our deal is for this child to start training when she’s a
TEENAGER, but until then, I want my daughter to have a normal childhood.
Good day!”
The gypsy frowned and walked out the door. “Remember what I said, dear.”
76. As soon as she was gone, March started to really process what the gypsy had
said. She probably shouldn’t have barked at the gypsy, but she didn’t like
hearing all those things about her unborn child. March placed her hand over her
abdomen and felt the baby moving around in her belly. She needed to tell her
mom about this.
77. March found February in her room looking at a picture of her and Zai, taken
shortly before their wedding.
“Can I talk to you, Mom? It’s really important.”
March turned around and smiled at her daughter. “Sure, we can sit and talk on
the couch here.”
79. “Oh, March,” she said after March finished. “I warned you that this deal was a bad idea. And now you’re child is going to
have to deal with the consequences. You got the baby into this mess.”
“But, Mom. I still think it’s our only option. Someone has to kill Traviata, right? And this child will have the best training. And
the gypsy only said it could be fatal if this baby gives up. Which it won’t. I’ll make sure of it.”
80. “There was probably another way. Anyway but putting you’re unborn child at
risk.”
“So what? You’d rather I’d left Payton dead.”
“Don’t you EVER think that, March Time. I love you’re brother and couldn’t
imagine him still being gone.”
81. “Then trust me, Mom. I’m the heir and I’m trying to do what’s best for the family.
For everyone in the family, Payton and this unborn child included.”
February grimaced. “You know I still don’t like this, but since I can’t do anything
about now, I’ll support you. But be careful.”
“I will, Mom. After all, I’m going to have a second daughter. What could be more
precious than that?”
82. Later that evening, another precious life was entering the world. Valerie gasped
in pain, trying not to scream. She didn’t want to upset Austin, who had just
become a toddler. Austin sat on the ground singing happily to himself, unaware
of what was going on with his mother.
83. Not much later, Valerie placed her new son Logan in the baby swing. No matter
how many kids she delivered, she never got tired of holding a new life in her
hands.

84. Traviata looked around and surveyed the room she had finished setting up.
Perfect. After she had left Leap’s castle, Traviata had purchased this tiny castle
on the far end of town. It wasn’t as big or as grand as Leap’s castle, but for once,
it was a place of her own.
85. As soon as she was finished downstairs, she collapsed on her bed and started
thinking about her childhood. As she did, memories of her past came rushing
back to her.
86. Traviata was born to John and Amelia Marston. She was their only child, and
their pride and joy. From the moment she was born, they doted on her hand
and foot.
87. When she was old enough, her mother would take her to the park to play. They
would spend the pretty days outside, and the rainy days inside. Her mother
taught her to read at an early age, and was planning on sending her to private
school as soon as she was old enough.
88. Traviata was six when she got the news. Her parents had been killed…struck
by lightning while walking around the park. Traviata was devastated. The social
worker kindly explained that someone wanted to adopt her and that she would
be living with the woman starting immediately.
89. Her new mother took her to this creepy castle to live. Traviata was afraid of the
castle, so she kept to her herself.
90. She knew immediately how different this woman was from her real mother. Her
new mother did not play with her or take her anywhere. Traviata spent most of
her time in her room playing by herself.
91. A few years later, her new mother sat her down to talk to her. She explained
that she was a witch, the high witch of the path of darkness. She had adopted
Traviata because Traviata was special. She was a witch too, and it was time for
her to start learning.
92. At first, she only taught Traviata simple spells, but before long, Traviata was
expected to start learning the evil spells. The first thing she was asked to do
was kill the neighboring cat that had been coming around the castle. Traviata
didn’t want to do. Her new mother reminded her that the world was unfair and
she should have never lost her parents. She told Traviata to take her anger for
her parents out on the cat. And so she did. When it was over, Traviata
discovered that she had actually enjoyed herself. From that day on, she
absorbed every evil spell that her mother taught her.
93. By the time she was a teenager, Traviata was just as evil as her mother. They
would go out together at night, or her new mother would send Traviata to do her
dirty work for her. Traviata quickly became a very powerful and dangerous
witch.
94. The night after Traviata’s 21st birthday, her mother told her she had a new job to
do. A gentlemen had requested a witch to help him take care of a problem.
Traviata was told she would have to end a legacy. Traviata jumped at the
chance and before she knew it she was on her way to Leap’s castle to help
him.
95. Traviata shook off the memories and got up. She couldn’t be thinking about the
past now, she had important business to take care of.

96. Another party came to the family, and they gathered at the King’s house to watch
their oldest son, Cole, join his sister as a teenager.
Cole thought for a minute, and then blew out the candles. He prepared to make
his way into the next stage of life.
97. Cole burst into laughter as soon as he transitioned.
“Of course. Of all the outfits I could transition into, I had to age into this.” Cole
sighed. “I am so going to change.”
98. As soon as he changed, he stared at the mirror and grinned.
“Hey, babe, what’s up?” he asked nonchalantly.
Cole had decided that Romance was his passion in life. He also decided that he
would become famous by being one of those celebrity chefs on T.V. It was also a
good way to impress the ladies.
99. While Cole checked himself out in the bathroom, the kids sat around in the play
area deciding what they wanted to do first. Unfortunately, like many things, Cole
and Savannah couldn’t agree on what to do.
100. “I still think that we should play cops and robbers,” Cole stated firmly.
“No! It’s time to play dress up,” whined Savannah.
“Dress up is for girls!”
“Nuh-uh! Anyone can play dress-up! Cops and Robbers is a boring game!”
101. Shleby stared at her twin sister and cousin. She hated it when they fought, but
they seemed to be doing a lot of that lately.
She turned to the side. “April? Can you pleeeaaase do something?”
“Sure,” April replied.
102. April jumped up and took control. “Come on everybody, we can play both Cops and Robbers and
dress-up. Shelby said you have a cop uniform in your dress-up clothes and I bet we can find
something to make a robber’s outfit. I’ll be the robber and Luke can be the cop. Oh, and Savannah,
you and Shelby can be the princess sisters who I rob because I want your kingdom to myself!” April
finished giving orders.
“Come on, people! Let’s go!” The rest of the kids got up and started running to find all the costumes
and props that they would need.
103. “I still think that guys shouldn’t play dress-up!” Luke grumbled as he walked away.
104. “Mommy? When’s my baby brother or sister going to get here?” April was really
excited about being a big sister.
March smiled at her daughter. “Soon.”
105. April leaned in and started talking to the baby. “HI! It’s me, you’re big sister! I really hope you get here soon because
I’m really excited to meet you and I just got this new doll and toy pony that I wanna show you.”
March smiled. “Okay, April. It’s time to go get ready for school.”
“Mommy, do I have to go to school today? I wanna stay home with you.”
“April ,you know you have to go to school. Besides, your cousins we’ll be there and I know you love playing with them
at recess.”
“Okay, Mommy!” April smiled and bounced off to get dressed before the school bus got there.
106. March got the kids off to school and finished cleaning up the kitchen from
breakfast. She sat down on the couch to rest for a while.
She tried not to let her mind wander to the message the gypsy had delivered.
107. A few minutes later, March bolted upright as the first pang of a contraction of a
contraction hit her.
108. “Ahhhhhh!!!” March screamed but nobody heard her. The kids we’re at school,
and John and her Mom we’re both at work. It was okay, she could do this
herself.
109. After a long delivery, March held her little girl in her arms. A little girl. It was just
as the gypsy had predicted.
“Hello, Kaitlin,” she whispered to her new daughter as the child reached up and
grabbed her necklace. March had the urge to take Kaitlin tightly into her arms
and never let go.
110. Thanks for reading!
I’m really sorry that this chapter took so
long. I had hoped to have it finished
before I moved to college, but that didn’t
happen. And college turned out be much
busier than I had expected. Things seem
to have settled down some though, so I
hope to be able to get the next chapter out
in a reasonable time frame. However, I do
expect that the pacing of the chapters will
be much slower from now on.
P.S. Be on the lookout for Maya’s Twikki Adventures, coming soon!
