2. The most famous student of Socrates was Plato (427-347 BC), a
young aristocrat. He is known by the nickname "Plato" because he
has broad shoulders. After Socrates' execution, Plato continued his
search for Socrates. After years of traveling and studying to Egypt
and Italy, during that time he was said to have been kidnapped
and held for ransom, and then Plato founded the Academy in 385
BC - the most famous school in the classical world.
3. The Socratic debate about courage in the Socratic and Plato
dialogue which is the only dialogue aimed at pursuing the
definition of courage, does not explicitly provide the definition of
courage described by Socrates, this shows in it that contributed to
understanding the conception of courage in Socrates' courage..
that all of these qualities are part of virtue, and that four of the five
to some extent are similar. You can observe that many men are
completely untrue, impure, crossing borders, and don't know,
which they are however extraordinary because of their courage.
4. Whether to confirm it naturally without excaption that the pleasant is the
good and the painful thing. Paying attention not only to my answers now, but
also to the answers to all of my life, i would be safer, if i’m not mistaken, by
saying that three are some, pleasant things that arenot good, and that there
are some things that hurt which are good, and there are some which is not
good or bad.
Accordingto your favorite speech(Scorates), let us reflect about this, and if the
reflection is to the point, and the result processes that pleasure and good are
really the same, then we will agree, but if not then will argue.
5. What you provide about what, in our way, is referred to as filled with
pleasure? I must answer the following: when men are overcome by eating
and drinking and other pleasant sensual desires, and they, know They be
come evil, but if you obey them, you will say them overcome with
pleasure? They will not deny this. And suppose so you and i must ask
them again: “what are you saying they are evil, when they are pleasant
and get a pleasure at the moment, or because they cause illness anf
poverty and crime like everything else in the future? Are they still evil, if
they don’t have the consequence of evil that accompany them , solely
because they provide awareness of the pleasure of somethig shameful?
“Are they not going to answer that they are not evil because pleasure
that is immediately given by them, but because after that there will be
consequences”.
6. A virtues is a trait or quality that is deemed
to be morally good and thus is valued as a
foundation of principle and good moral
being. In other words, it is a behavior that
shows high moral standards. Doing what is
right and avoiding what is wrong.
7. There is something called fear or terror, which is defined this fear or terror as the
expection of evil. There are give parts of virtue, none like the others, each has a
separate function. And for this, that of the five virtues there are four parts which are
almost similar to each other, but the fifth, which is very different from the others.
And for example those are most cruel, unrighteous, intemperate, and ignorat
people are among the most courageous, which proves that courage is very
different from other parts of virtue.
To ensure the nature and relationship of virtue, beacause this must be clear, that to
prove that virtue is knowledge, including justice, and simplicity, and courage, which
shows that it can be tought.
