Changes of state (Remembering)
   In groups of 4 or 5
   Materials:
   Ice cubes, a kettle, a jar with a metal lid, a worksheet for students .
   Procedure:
   Put some hot water in the jar. (The teacher does)
   Turn the metal lid upside down and place on top of the jar.
   Place three ice cubes inside of the lid.
   Write anything and everything you notice for the next ten minutes.
   After about five minutes, take the lid off and observe the underside.
    Write your observations.
   Draw a diagram of the process and label: LIQUID, GAS, SOLID,
    EVAPORATION, CONDENSATION and MELTING
