We'll meet at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 4, 1996, at the Marin Civic Center, in the parking lot in front of the
Veteran's Auditorium (just drive around on the side of the main civic center building and you'll see it -- and there will
be 2 MR2s there before 11:00.
If you're coming from SF or the South Bay or across the Richmond, San Rafael Bridge:
1) Head NORTH on Highway 101
2) Take the NORTH SAN PEDRO ROAD exit. You're almost there now.
3) You'll be heading east alongside the Marin Civic Center
4) Turn LEFT at the 1st stop light (you'll see the Civic center and a
post office close by).
5) You'll drive along by a lagoon (watch out for geese!) on your right
6) Make the first RIGHT into the Auditorium parking lot -- the auditorium is a round building with a blue roof.
Hopefully you'll see a flock of MR2s there.
We’ll drive down Lucas Valley Road -- great for MR2s! -- out to Nicasio, the on to Petaluma, where we’ll stop at
McNear’s (23 Petaluma Blvd -- right down town) — ggreat Barbecue and microbeer and other good stuff. The whole
trip — with lunch = about 2 hours.
