Folsom Historical Society have been working hard this Winter! A
new sign was designed, fund raising activities have starting up and
donations are coming in to reach our goal of $300,000
Chan House Sign
A sign has been designed and placed in front of the Chan House to
199 Blue Ravine Rd Suite 100 give visitors to the Historic District a sense of what the Chan House
Folsom CA Restoration will look like when completed.
A 9 course dinner will be served:
Chicken with Sweet Corn Soup
Broccoli Beef
Kung Pao Chicken
Fish Filet in Black Bean Sauce
Orange Chicken Salt and Pepper
Pork Chops House Fried Rice
House Chow Mein

2. New Friends of Chan
House Website
We have just completed the
redesign of our
Friends of Chan House Website
The website now has latest news
and updates, newsletters,
pictures, upcoming events,
contact information, history and
a PayPal donation link.

----------------------------------- Our March 15 kick-off fundraising dinner at Hop Sing’s was a huge
success with all of the tickets selling out. Over 60 people attended
the dinner and several went home with nice Raffle Prizes.

held every 2 weeks at the Folsom
History Museum. The Chan
House Committee is looking for
new volunteers to help out on
this project.

$100,000 - Garden to be named after donor
$50,000 - Bench with donors name on it
$25,000 - Garden Feature (statue, etc.) with donor’s name
adjacent to or on the feature
$10,000 - special plaque in garden with the donor’s name
Donations of $500 or more will be permanently
memorialized at the Chan House.
