Chamber Committees
Ambassadors
Chamber Ambassadors are an energetic group of peo-
ple who work to maintain contact with Chamber
members while helping to promote the Chamber as a
whole. Ambassadors are from local businesses who
volunteer their time to help promote the Business
Community and support many Chamber Functions.
Ambassadors meet on the fourth Monday of every
month.
Legislative Action Committee
Legislative Action Committee acts on behalf of our
members by keeping them informed on legislation
that will impact their success as a business.
The legislative Action Committee meets on the sec-
ond Wednesday of every month.
Economic Development Committee
The Economic Development Committee provides a
framework for steps to support Chamber members,
new and existing business and the City of Azusa’s
future economic prosperity.
The Economic Development Committee meets fol-
lowing Legislative Action.
Taste of the TownTaste of the Town
This event is held in conjunction with Golden Days week
during the month of October. Local restaurants & wineries
let you sample their best recipes. It is held annually at the
California Army National Guard Azusa Readiness Center.
This great event includes entertainment, auctions, and
plenty of appetizing samples.
Kids Come First Golf TournamentKids Come First Golf Tournament
The Azusa Chamber of Commerce and City of Azusa part-
ner up to help out the children of Azusa. This worthwhile
tournament raises funds for projects to provide a better en-
vironment & recreation for the children of Azusa.
Job ShadowJob Shadow
In partnership with Azusa Unified School District, this
event allows local students to shadow a business person
for the day. Job Shadow is a great opportunity for stu-
dents to sample a career.
Azusa State of the City AddressAzusa State of the City Address
This annual event brings the Mayor of the City, Superin-
tendent of the Azusa School District, President of Azusa
Pacific University and the Chamber of Commerce,
Chairperson an opportunity to address the Azusa
Community.
Food & Toy DriveFood & Toy Drive
In partnership with the Azusa Coordinating Council this
event brings all local nonprofit organizations together.
Bringing holiday cheer to local food banks to help those in
need during the month of December.
