Customer Experience Improvement: Finding the Right Data Strategy
Despite trends in Big Data analytics, marketers are still missing a key component to understanding their customers' experiences: ethnographic data to better understand the "why," not just the "what."
Managing congenitally missing lateral incisors with single tooth implants
Congenitally missing teeth are frequently presented to the dentist. Interdisciplinary approach may be needed for the proper treatment plan. Several treatment
options exist for the replacement of congenitally missing lateral incisors. These options include canine substitution, resin bonded fixed partial dentures, cantilevered
fixed partial dentures, conventional fixed partial dentures and single tooth implants. Depending on which treatment option is chosen, a specific criterion has to be
addressed. Interdisciplinary treatment plays a vital role to achieve an excellent, esthetic result for a most predictable outcome. This paper describes the therapeutic use
of osseointegrated implants to replace congenitally missing upper lateral incisors. Highlighting the importance of the Orthodontic/Restorative interface.

Tales from the Trenches – Leveraging Agile on Fixed Fee Projects
This was a session given at Agile Portugal 2015 by myself and my good friend and colegue Ricardo Jesus.
We come here to share our experiences on the last 6 years delivering various waves of 2 very large projects, for 2 very big customers of Microsoft Consulting Services, on 2 different teams we’ve lead. We would like to share our mistakes, our wins and how we leveraged Agile methodologies to deliver on time and on budget projects that were scoped and planed as fixed fee, with all iterations built on top of a Waterfall model, and as most projects, with a very tight schedule.
As you may know Agile methodologies like SCRUM, XP, KANBAN are most commonly used on Time & Materials type of projects where the Stakeholders control a budget (time and/or money) and decide the best way to use that budget on each iteration. In the case of Fixed Fee the scope of the project is set at the start of the project and now the team has to deliver on time and on budget all the features defined in the scope.
On top of that Microsoft Consulting Services has a very strict delivery framework built on top of a waterfall model… So we had to adapt and build a agile framework that would optimize the team’s performance and would deliver all the milestones that were set with the stakeholders and project management team. We learned a lot from these projects: the value of a strongly committed teams, the price of wasteful processes, the value of rapidly adapt and facilitating change and, most importantly, that what works now may not be so on the next iteration. We want to share all these lessons and practical examples that we’ve lived and learned from.

Saya diminta mengajar mata kuliah ini di program studi Teknik Informatika[1], Unsoed. Tadinya saya menempatkan diri sebagai "ban serep" saja, ternyata memang tidak ada yang "berani".
Jadi, akhirnya saya mengajar dengan riang gembira, membaca buku serta menuliskan dan menceritakan sedikit pengalaman saya di dunia keamanan.
[1] Program studi "rumah" saya adalah Teknik Elektro.
