The 2014 census of open access repositories in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland aimed to gather and analyze data on repository characteristics, based on a prior 2012 census. The study included an extensive survey with over 50 criteria and resulted in findings on repository sizes, software usage, and compliance with open access standards. Future presentations and reports are planned, with data availability in September 2014.
