As the market evolved, a second provider entered and competition increased coverage and improved quality. Prices became more affordable through discounts and prepaid cards. Services expanded from calls to SMS and newer phones offered more features. Now, mobile coverage extends nationwide with numerous affordable options beyond calls, utilizing latest generation phones with cameras, music, and more. However, the impact of mobile use in Egyptian society warrants further discussion.
