The Cellaxess®HT system is an automated high throughput transfection system that uses a patented capillary electrode array technology to enable reagent-free delivery of siRNA and cDNA to a wide range of cell types in 384-well plates. It can transfect up to 50,000 wells per day and is compatible with most life sciences automation systems. The system transfects primary cells and cell lines at any developmental stage without affecting cell morphology. This enables more biologically relevant screening for drug discovery compared to traditional transfection methods limited to cell lines.
