Seneca Jade Washburn passed away on June 27, 2079 at her home surrounded by friends and family at the age of 82. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia and lived a full life as a teacher and activist, dedicating herself to helping displaced LGBT youth in Appalachia. In death, she leaves behind her husband, child, siblings, and many others who will miss her greatly. Her funeral will be held on June 29th.
