CBTEACH is a framework developed by NotUnbranded Group to improve mental health and wellbeing. It combines cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance commitment therapy techniques. The framework has 7 stages to understand how cognitive behaviors impact health and wellbeing, and 7 steps to improve wellbeing through connections, mindfulness, healthy habits, and more. CBTEACH aims to normalize mental health discussions, empower self-management, and reduce the number of people requiring clinical care through online and in-person resources.

4. Current Mental Health Landscape
• Primary & Secondary care providers are rightly
focused on those in greater crisis, but are
increasingly stretched.
• This is leading to longer waiting times, resulting
in more people ending up in crisis.
• While 3rd parties have filled gaps in the market,
their focus has been on providing more
specialized offerings.
• Some charities have stayed user/volunteer led
but focused on those in greater crisis eg.
Shelters/drop-in centres.
• MHFA and i-Act have come closest to offering
a user-led service but again the focus has
been on those deeper in crisis.
• CBTEACH® is aiming to fill the gap in the
market for a “ground floor” offering aimed at
reducing the number of people getting into
crisis and thereby requiring greater levels of
care.Level of Crisis
