Kristen Greenaway was recently appointed president of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, taking over from the longtime president Langley Shook. In her first year, she has focused on strengthening relationships with local communities and partner organizations. This included establishing a Friends Board to help guide partnerships. She has also developed strong partnerships with the museum's board and staff. Looking ahead, Greenaway envisions the museum playing an important role in the community by providing resources like boat access and building appropriate programming and staff.
