St. Muredach's Cathedral is located between two bridges along the River Moy in Ballina, Ireland. It was first erected in 1827 based on a Gothic structure with a 170 foot steeple. The cathedral contains stained glass windows depicting biblical scenes and Irish saints created in Germany. It also has an altar, organ, and baptismal font transported from Rome. The interior features wood carvings and three oil paintings over a century old.
