2. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (1). The weight of
flywheel housing (1) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Position the flywheel housing on the
cylinder block. Install bolts (4) that fasten the engine oil pan to the flywheel housing.
3. Install bolts (2) and bolts (3) .
4. Check the flywheel housing runout. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Flywheel Housing
- Inspect".
End By: Install the flywheel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel - Install".

Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 200 ± 25 N·m (148 ± 18 lb ft).

2. Apply Tooling (B) to the joint face. Allow the primer to dry for at least three to five
minutes.
3. Apply Tooling (C) to the joint face. Spread the sealant uniformly. Front housing (4) must be
installed within ten minutes of applying the sealant.
4. Position front housing (4) on the cylinder block.
5. Install bolts (3) and bolts (5) .
