Keep all parts clean from contaminants.
Contamination of the hydraulic system with foreign material will
reduce the service life of the hydraulic system components.
To prevent contaminants from entering the hydraulic system, always
plug or cap the lines, fittings, or hoses as they are disconnected. Cover
any disassembled components and clean them properly before
assembly.
Clean the hydraulic system properly after any major component
exchange or especially after a component failure, to remove any
contamination.

14. 5. Attach a suitable lifting device to swing motor and swing drive (4). Remove swing motor
and swing drive (4). The weight of swing motor and swing drive (4) is approximately 27 kg
(60 lb).
Installation Procedure
1. Install swing motor and swing drive (4) in the reverse order of removal.
2. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 108 N·m (80 lb ft)

containing fluids.

Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Start By:
A. Remove track.
B. Remove undercarriage frame (one side).
Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very
long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.
Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or
disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.
Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or
disassembling a cylinder.
