Catalist Digital has partnered with Follett Library Resources to provide audiobook streaming through school library catalogs. Audiobooks from Catalist can be streamed from their website or via app on smartphones and tablets using a shared login credential. Schools can search for and download Catalist audiobook titles through their Follett Titlewave account to make available to patrons.

1. Catalist Audiobooks
Catalist Digital (http://www.catalistdigital.com) has partnered with Follett Library Resources
to bring audiobooks through a school library’s Destiny online circulation.
The audiobooks can be streamed using a computer from the Catalist Digital website, or by
using the Catalist app on a smartphone or tablet.
On the computer:
Log in to Destiny. Search using Material Type and choose “Sound Recording (non-musical)”
Click the Keyword button. All Catalist books will be listed, along with any Playaways.
Click on the book and it will stream on your computer. When you close the audiobook you
must logon again to use it.
Devices that can use the app are:
iPhone 3gs,4,4s
iPad, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation
iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generation
Android devices that use 2.3 OS or higher. Does not work on a Kindle Fire or B&N Nook
yet, but they are working on it.
Titles must be downloaded using WiFi. Feel free to listen using 3G, 4G, or WiFi.

2. How to order Catalist Audiobooks
After logging on to Titlewave, go to Advanced Search

Click the Audiovisual Tab
Titlewave makes it super easy. Just narrow your search by grade level and format.

5. Receiving the audiobooks
 You will receive an email from Catalist containing your login information to
set up your Content Management Center.
 Download Marc records just as you would book books.
 Setting this up is very similar to the FollettShelf ebooks Manager.

8. The patron is directed from Follett to their
Catalist logon. It is generic for all patrons.

9. Listen to the audiobook on the computer. It is
streaming audio and will go away when closed.

10. Using the app
Use the same generic username/password you set up for your patrons.

11. Teacher only use
 You can “Group” your audiobooks, by having
one logon for students and another logon for
teachers.
