be by their side. We are committed to a patient focused approach!”

“Thank you all for your expertise, help and kindness.

Every day, twenty-four hours a day, Holy Family Hospital’s Emergency Medicine professionals
deliver critical care to patients with every kind of urgent need, including radical medical, surgical
and trauma intervention. Patients of all ages are treated with the greatest compassion, skill and
speed at a time when they and their families are often most vulnerable and helpless. If you’ve
ever experienced emergency care at Holy Family, you know that kindness and consideration
accompany the advanced medical science and technology dispensed by our extraordinary
teams.

For over 60 years, Holy Family has been saving lives...

Holy Family Hospital’s Dr. Crespo in Haiti

Holy Family Hospital is a 254-bed facility
serving 200,000 patients annually.
We are proud of our consistent high
achievement in patient satisfaction
and safety. Holy Family is a fully
accredited facility and proudly Dr. Crespo serves as the Chief of Staff for
received the Gold Seal of Approval the Emergency Center
from The Joint Commission.
Now, we need your support to advance
our Emergency Center facilities to the superior
standard you expect and deserve. Built in 1972,
the current capacity of the Emergency Department
is no longer adequate to serve the needs of
our growing population. With our original capacity
of just 24 beds, we now serve 40,000 or more
patients annually. We are simply bursting at
the seams.
All too often patients are treated in crowded
                                                               we need your

conditions in small rooms (sometimes in
hallways), with limited privacy and inadequate
waiting space for family. There are too few
triage rooms and staff must battle noise and
crowding with multiple patients per room. In
addition, there is no on site CT scanner, no safe
place for patients in psychological distress, lack
of storage and support space, and the
old block-style construction interferes with pager
and phone signals. Our existing emergency
department is simply no longer adequate to
meet the growing emergency medical needs of
our community.

“I had to rush my child to the Holy Family ER recently... I was so terrified. The kind medical staff took
charge right away and gave him the medical attention he needed and really soothed my fears and calmed
me too...I’m very grateful to the entire team for being there for both of us.”
                                                                                                     -Bob T
