This document provides instructions for the game "Canine Curler Capture". The game involves fastening hair curlers to a family dog using Velcro and having two children use kitchen tongs to remove as many curlers as possible from the dog's fur within a one minute round. The child who removes the most curlers wins. Multiple rounds can be played until the children injure each other with the tongs or the dog bites someone. 1. Let’s Play
CANINE CURLER CAPTURE!!
It’s fun for kids of all ages! You’ll laugh! You’ll cry!
You may even sue! Here’s how to play--
Gather at least 10 Velcro hair curlers.

2. Fasten all the curlers securely on the family… no, not
the family breadwinner----

3. ...on the family DOG! (or a stray that we found on the
street yesterday who smells pretty bad but has better
fur and was really well behaved).

4. Take two sets of large kitchen tongs

5. and two children. (Also borrowed.)
The object of the game is to get the greatest number
of curlers out of the dog’s fur using ONLY the tongs.
If the children drop the curlers, they must gather
them with the tongs, or they will be disqualified and
the other child automatically wins. Each round lasts
for one minute.
GO!
You can play as many rounds as you like until the kids
poke each other’s eyes out with the tongs OR until the
dog bites someone!

6. And Moms - there’s typically no clean up!
