3. The dark shadows of the trees contrast nicely with the
water and the sun in this photo. It reminds me of being on a
houseboat in British Columbia. At night we would park the boat on
the shore and watch the sunset reflect on the water from the
rooftop. The scenery of this photo also reminds me of our
campsite at Waskesiu because of the way the trees surrounded
our campsite. I enjoy the canoe in this picture because it looks like
it would be fun to ride in. The water looks so calm and peaceful
and makes me feel at ease.

5. I love this photo because it reminds me of my summer
drives to Regina. Canola fields are so pretty because it’s nice
being able to see yellow for miles. The flatness of the land
reminds me of home and gives me a safe and happy feeling. I like
how the sky is such a bright blue because it looks pretty against
the fluffy white clouds and the beautiful yellow field. The little shed
is something I would typically see on the grid road between
Rouleau and Regina. It makes me wonder about the history of
Canadian land, and what the shed was used for before it was
abandoned.

7. Fall in Canada is so beautiful because all the leaves turn
beautiful and bright colours. This photo reminds me of travelling
down the long lane to a friend’s house. My favourite part of this
photo is the red barn in the background. Red barns give me a
feeling of happiness and makes me wish I lived on a farm. The
tree looks so large and comforting; I would love to take a book
outside to read under the shadows of the tree.

9. This photo makes me want to frolic and run around with
my dog. I can just imagine my dog’s white tail peaking out of the
tall grass. It reminds me of when my family went on picnics. We
would take a blanket and lay it out to have a picnic on the grass. I
would love to go lay in the tall grass on a summer day to
daydream. I enjoy how Canadian skies are so clear, blue, and
unpolluted.

11. Although winter isn’t my favourite season, I still love the way
the snow looks when it collects on the trees. I like that there are so
many different kinds of trees in this picture. The snow-covered hill
reminds me of when I was younger and my sister and I would go
tobogganing with my Nana and Papa at Regina Beach. We would
climb to the top of a hill or a snowy road and slide down it for an
entire day. After doing this, we would go back to their house and drink
hot chocolate and huddle up by the fireplace. This photo makes me
feel like getting cozy in a big blanket with a warm drink in my hand.
Winter also reminds me of Christmas, which is my favourite holiday.
