2. After my father passed away,
I saw this move, in which
the father finished the
Camino for his son, who
died in the attempt of
walking Camino.
And that is when I decided
that on the anniversary of
my father’s death, I will
walk the Camino to honor
him.

3. I started my journey, taking risk and
stepping into the unknown…
4. I walked on average 30km per day for 28 days, from

5. I knew ahead of time that the weather condition was
not ideal: it was heavy winter, and one of the worst
storms in 50 years covered most of Europe at the time
9. On The Way, I made friends who are from
all over the world.
10. And I saw some of the most spectacular beauties
I have ever seen.
11. 100km Mark!
Step by step, I was
closer and closer to my
destination.
I continued to walk, with
faith and determination.
12. And this is it! Santiago de Compostela!

13. However, I felt a little …disconsolate at first upon the arrival.
After all, getting to the city was the only thing occupied my
mind for the past month, but the city in front of me now was
no extraordinary. Maybe I was hoping for something more to
happen…
14. But then I realized: everything
already happened on The Way.
The process is the result.
I took the risk and step into the
unknown with courage, and
the result is fruitful yet
invaluable. I had not only
overcame the challenge of the
nature but also confronted my
own fear and other emotional
weakness. During the one
month period, I had gained a
deeper insight of myself in
terms of who I really am and
what my limits are.
These experiences and
understandings will
strengthen my personal
characters and help me
become more successful in my
professional life.
