Community Alliance of Lane County (CALC) has advocated for oppressed groups and promoted nonviolent solutions to conflicts since its founding protesting the Vietnam War. They are currently fundraising to hire a full-time community organizer to help decriminalize homelessness, fight discrimination, promote LGBTQ rights, and build a more diverse and inclusive community. CALC needs donations by September 15th to receive a matching funds grant that will allow them to hire an organizer with benefits to further their important work.
