The Hope Foundation
Homeless Development
The purpose of the Hope Foundation is to provide a second chance
at life to the homeless people of Atlanta. It is a rehabilitation process
for homeless people dealing with substance abuse and mental health
issues so they can redeem themselves and live successfully. The
program will demonstrate incredible humanitarian efforts by providing
counseling, shelter, food, and training to the people in the program to
prepare them for the world again. It will take 3-5 months for the
program to be completed, so the staff will be working around the clock
in order to aid those that are submitted in the program. Once the
people have demonstrated improvement they will graduate from the
program and will begin to live day-to-day lives while looking for jobs
and going on job interviews. At that time, a new set of people will be
submitted into the program.

Who Will Be Affected?
The Hope Foundation is more than just a second chance for the
homeless; it is needed for a brighter future. The Atlanta
community needs more options for the homeless so they can
help make the community stronger by working together.
The taxpayers of Atlanta are affected by homeless people as
well. Medical aid, public safety interventions, and many other
things affect the community, which can be pricey. By aiding
people today, we can have a better tomorrow.
People should invest time into this project because there is a rise
in homelessness in low poverty areas, and by working together
and giving opportunities, lives can be changed.

Research:
Research must take place in order to be successful in any
organization.
Research will take place to find new prospects to donate to the
program.
We will be taking photos of the progress of each program as well as
interviewing each individual to see how the program is affecting
them.
Because our information will be online, we will need someone to
maintain the site and keep it up to date.
We need a great team to be successful with this program. The time
and effort that will be needed will come from passion for a change.

Conclusion:
What I want more than anything out of this program is to make a
change in the community. There are so many things that need to
change in Atlanta, and although I may not be able to do
everything at a time, one change can have a deep impact and
ripple off into something new.
