Macromedia Flash is a software program used to create animations and interactive content. It has a main menu bar and toolbar at the top of the screen. The timeline along the bottom is used to arrange and play animations over time on the stage. Panels along the sides can be opened and closed to access tools, libraries, and inspector windows. Movie files are saved with the .fla extension and contain all project assets and settings.
