Ruth sees building #teamCNO as a cornerstone of her objectives as Chief Nursing Officer for England to strengthen nursing and midwifery leadership across health and social care. As CNO, she leads both operationally and strategically for the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England/NHS Improvement. CNO for England is the most senior advisor on nursing and midwifery
matters for DHSC and is Executive Nurse for NSH England / NHS
Improvement, so leading both operationally and strategically ... so
strengthens the professional leadership at all levels and across
health and the care sector.
