The document provides directions and discusses locations. It includes a conversation where Matt gives Jesse directions to the supermarket, newspaper stand, and other nearby places. The vocabulary focuses on prepositions of location like on, near, next, and across. Students then answer true/false questions about the conversation and locations. At the end, they are prompted to do a role-play giving directions to an Italian restaurant located across the street from the supermarket.
Lots of exercises on the topic of giving directions, useful for intermediate, or even beginner level (A2) if students show particular interest for English or the topic. Exercises taken from: follow the link on the last slide of this Presentation.
