11. Deepnet The most recent version is 1.5.3 (BETA 3) which was Released October 19, 2006. Developed in Britain, Deepnet Explorer gained early recognition both for its use of anti-phishing tools and the inclusion of a peer-to-peer facility for filesharing, based on the Gnutella network. The anti-phishing feature, in combination with other additions, led the developers to claim that it had a higher level of security than either Firefox or Internet Explorer—however, as the underlying rendering engine was still the same as that employed in Internet Explorer, it was suggested that the improved security would fail to address the vulnerabilities found in the rendering engine.
12. Phaseout is a flash-based shell for Internet Explorer. It adds some really impressive looking graphics and customizable skins to your Internetbrowsing experience. Since it's Internet Explorer based you can also remove your browsing history quickly. Help/Support: PhaseOut does not provide a whole lot of help for new users. There is a FAQs and email support, but no user manual, no online helps or tutorials, and no user forums. Speed & Compatibility: PhaseOut is completely compatible with Internet Explorer, but on our computers ran a bit slower than we'd like. The futuristic look is neat, but not if you have to sacrifice speed. Refer to our Internet browser time trials to find the fastest browser.
