Services Londen Sport Method
Background
The methodology Londen Sport Method (LSM) is in a dynamic ratio relative to a broadening
knowledge society and the need to support the youth and steadiness in that complicated
society. The LSM sees participation in sports activities as primary means to that steadiness.
In addition, many youth training camps – top-sports clubs are dealing with a drastic decline
and loss of youth athletes.
To be able to carry out an effective youth sports policy there must be more and more
attention to the diversity in society and that is why the LSM answers to the changes
associated with this charming top-sport youth and all sorts of things that affect that.
The LSM is a fellow player between and along with various other players: sport
organisations, parents/guardians and education The LSM has a monitoring and steering
role.
In more and more sectors – local governments get more a private responsibility. Also
horizontal policy rapport is gaining in importance. In the framework of the debate should be
local authorities, educational institutions and professional sportoganisaties responsible for:
• development of a strategic conceptual framework;
• development of a basic set of instruments;
• monitoring;
• promotion of the quality of supply and service.
The development of the policy instruments is often too focused on its own domain : local
authorities, educational institutions or local sports organizations. Each field within those
domains has its own historical development, its own laws, its own expectations. Each sector
has its own policy culture and a specific interpretation of the principle of subsidiarity. And
finally, each field own strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities, private
(budgetary) needs and expectations. That's why the TSA is an integral response to the
fragmented approach and vision with regard to the development of new policy instruments in
the context of the development of youth-top-sport policy.

• reducing loss and improve flow to the A-selection in youth sports training with 30%
