  services and e-mobile services.
 Strencom specialise in data networks and
  cloud computing, but also offer
  broadband.
 UPC provide home phone lines, TV and
  broadband services.
   Types of telecommunications companies:

 Wimax offer home phone lines, broadband
  and e-mobile services.
 Digiweb offer home phone lines and
  broadband services.
 Vodaphone offer mobile phone, broadband
  and land line services.
   Medium of communication:

  copper wire cables to connect you to the
  internet.

   There is an installation fee of €20.00
 Which option would I choose?
 Personally, I would go for UPC’s ’50mb
  Fibre Powered Broadband’ for €45.00.
 I believe it is the best value of money and
  it offers good upload and download
  speeds.
 There is also a good contention ratio,
  17:1. This means there won’t be too
  many people on the same line.
