Handkerchiefs have had social, political, and scientific implications throughout history. They have been used as status symbols, for flirting through symbolic gestures, and to express emotions like cheering or crying. Politically, handkerchiefs have been used to signify surrender in wars or make political declarations. Scientifically, they have aided in discoveries like aromatherapy and electricity. Today tissues have replaced most uses of handkerchiefs.

Singapore participates actively in regional relations through organizations like ASEAN. It offers scholarships under the Singapore Cooperation Programme for ASEAN students to study in Singaporean universities. Singapore also contributes funds to promote ASEAN youth interaction and development through initiatives like the Singapore-ASEAN Youth Fund. Regional relations provide political, social, and economic benefits for Singapore by allowing it to combine strengths with neighboring countries. This helps Singapore maintain regional peace and stability while promoting economic growth, despite facing competition from larger powers. Regional relations are more beneficial for Singapore than bilateral or international relations as they provide stronger collective support during times of crisis.

Feeding relationships in an ecosystem can be represented by food chains and food webs. A food chain follows the transfer of energy as one organism eats another, and may be eaten by a third. A food web is more complex, showing how multiple organisms are interconnected through feeding. While energy is lost at each transfer between trophic levels, food webs promote stability in a community. Sunlight provides the original energy that drives producers, such as plants, which are then consumed by primary and secondary consumers in a chain, with less than 1% of the solar energy ultimately retained.

15. 1960.gadā laikraksta «Pionieris» jūnija numurā rakstīts,
ka I Skolu Jaunatnes Dziesmu un deju svētkos Izglītības
ministrijas diplomu saņēma 1.-4.klašu Liepnas
internātskolas kolektīvs. Svētku dalībnieki nolika ziedus
pie Ļeņina pieminekļa.
1972.gada laikrakstā «Padomju Jaunatne» rakstā
«Karogu īpašnieki zināmi!» par Padomju Latvijas skolu
Jaunatnes III Dziesmu un deju svētkiem rakstīts
„Izglītības ministrija otrās pakāpes diplomu un medaļas
piešķīrusi Liepnas internātskolas 1.-4.klašu deju
kolektīvam (vad.B.Bijone).»
19. 1975.gada laikrakstā Padomju Jaunatne intervijā «Sirds
bagātība: intervija par mīlestību» Liepnas internātskolas
direktore Anna Akmene stāsta: «Brigita Bijone māca
skolēnus dejot. Viņa nodibinājusi veselus 3 deju kolektīvus.
Viens ir stiprākais, kurš ieguva pirmo vietu republikas skatē.
Taču ļoti svētīgi arī mazākie kolektīvi.»
1978.gada laikrakstā «Pionieris» Liepnas internātskolas
6.klases skolniece Anita Logina raksta: «Ik ceturtdienu
skolas sporta zālē sapulcējas 5.-8.klašu dejotāji. Nākot uz
mēģinājumu, visi ir draiski, nebēdnīgi. Bet, tiklīdz atskan
pirmie klavieru akordi, ikviens tūdaļ noskaņojas darbam,
grūtam, diezgan vienmuļam un tāpēc gandrīz apnicīgam.
20. Nav jau nemaz tik aizraujoši vienu un to pašu dejas kustību
atkārtot desmitiem reižu. Skolotāja pamana katru kļūmi,
katru sīkumu: neesi uzsmaidījis partnerim, ar akcentu neesi
pasniedzis roku. «Deja nedrīkst būt netīra! Jādejo viegli,
pareizi. Izteiksmīgi,» viņa saka. Un mēs sākam atkal visu no
jauna. Dažreiz jau krekls sāk lipt pie muguras. Vienam

27. Arī Brigitas meita Mārīte (pirmā no kreisās,
blakus skolotājai) 3 gadu vecumā kāpa uz
lielās skatuves.
70. Brigita laikabiedru atmiņās:
Liepnas internātskolas absolvente Rudīte Opelte
(Kozilāne) atmiņās par deju skolotāju Brigitu raksta:
“Es mācēju danci vest līkumiņu līkumiem...” Šie
vārdi rotāja mūsu guļamistabas sienu Liepnas
internātskolā pagājušā gadsimta 70 gadu beigās un
80 gadu sākumā. Mūsu klases audzinātāja bija
skolotāja, kam visu mūžu sirdī ir tautas deja. Līdz ar
to, arī mēs bijām dejotājklase. Stingra un prasīga
pret mums, pret sevi. Skolotāja mums iemācīja, ka, lai
ko sasniegtu, ir daudz jāpapūlas.”
71. Liepnas internātskolas absolvente Lilita Graudiņa
atceras: “Es, maza meitenīte no Rīgas, atnācu 2.klasītē
uz Liepnas internātskolu mācīties. Ļoti ātri nokļuvu deju
kolektīvā, ko vadīja Brigita. Tas bija Dziesmu svētku
gads (1979 gads).
75. Mīlestību uz deju var notēlot, nospēlēt,
bet uz brīdi. Nodzīvot dzīvi dejai un atdot tai
tik daudz gadus var tikai retais. Mēs savā dzīvē
šādu cilvēku sastapām. Tā ir Skolotāja-
BRIGITA BIJONE!
Paldies par atsaucību un sadarbību deju
skolotājai Brigitai prezentācijas tapšanā!
76. Paldies par uzmanību!
