This is a Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education 2018 (VWBPE 2018) presentation by Dr. Bradley Hodgins, Dr. Andrew Stricker and Dr. Cynthia Calongne on teaching iand learning from within Second Life and OpenSimulator, an open source virtual world. The topics ranged from Zalomar's experiences exploring and learning to modeling in 3D. Jack's World features the dream of eight-year-old Jack and his love of dinosaurs. Over the Christmas holiday 2017, Jack and his uncle Andy designed Jack's World using open source tools.
