2. Create customisable Indesign files within Br@ndcentre
Br@ndcentre provides a plug-in which will help users
integrate with Indesign environment.
With this Indesign integration, users can specify editable and
non-editable areas on Indesign documents and save them as
editable templates for localisation.
The following slides illustrate the process of converting an
Indesign document to an editable template.

3. Creating editable text holder
1. Select text field

1. Select text to be changed
2. Double-click the variable name from the mark up panel list

6. Creating editable graphic holder
1. Select object
2. Click the Make Variable button or use the Add Variable
flyout menu.

7. Applying changes to the graphic holder
1. Select object
2. Double-click the variable name from the Markup panel
3. Variable is applied to graphic frame and changes name of layer
in the Layers Panel.

8. Saving and packaging
Once you’ve added a set of variables to the Markup panel, you can save them
and upload them to Br@ndcentre for an online conversion.
Such imported files will be converted in batches and are made available for
on-line editing, which users can localise, adapt and create multiple variables.

9. The updated files are then saved in the Br@ndcentre DAM within TOOLS section.
