Appropriate Sanitation facilities are the key to good health and
hygiene of a village and the people therein. BPS would help in
providing both financial and technical assistance for creating these
cleanand disease-freefacilitiesforthe ruralpopulace.
BPS firmly believes that India resides in its villages. Hence, it is vital
to have a cluster of villages under a Gram Panchayat as a unit for
development of Rural India. BSP plans to run a Goshala, with 100
cows and buffaloes, on the average. This cattle-wealthwill be
sponsored by different organizations. The plan is to identify 50
unemployed individuals from 50 poor families and provide funding
fortwo cows perperson as an income-generationproposition.
BPS is keen to run a Community Biogas Plant that would operate on
cow dung / cattle dung, which would provide gas to all rural houses
within the cluster and also provide electricity to run micro-enterprises
like flour mills, threshers and oil expellers and strengthen the local
economy by tapping the environment-friendly renewable sources of
energy. BPS is also keen to initiate various environment conservation
activities like rain-water harvesting, bio-composting and organic
farming.
