provided an umbrella contract supporting the advanced acquisition planning process for use during
wartime or military emergencies. Primary focus was to support and augment the operational strength
of the US Army.
• Under LOGCAP, KBR constructed facilities and managed the infrastructure for Army base camps—
everything from beds and food service to laundry, sanitation and utilities. KBR also supported the
Reception, Staging, Onward Movement and Integration (RSOI) process of U.S. forces as they entered
or departed their theatre of operation by sea, air or rail.
Highlights

transported more than 1 billion gallons of fuel; delivered over 381 million pounds of mail; serviced more
than 126 million patrons at morale, welfare and recreation facilities; rebuilt over 50 different types of Army
equipment; produced more than 14 billion gallons of potable water and logged more than 177 million miles
in transport.
• We served as the original LOGCAP provider from 1992 to 1997. We were subsequently awarded a two-yea
sole-source contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers on behalf of US Army Europe to provide logistics
support in the Balkans. We also won a competitively-bid five-year contract from the Corps, beginning in
1999, for logistics services throughout the Balkans.
• Under LOGCAP III, KBR has managed projects across numerous countries including the Republic of Georgia,
Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Djibouti, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan and Turkey. During the original LOGCAP contract,
KBR provided base operations support services to military and civilian personnel deployed on contingency
events in Somalia, Rwanda, Zaire, Uganda, Haiti, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Bosnia, Hungary and Croatia.
