Department or Hiring Manager:
I originally met Brian Post nearly nine years ago at Activision Publishing in the Santa Monica,
California offices. At the time Brian was a tester in the Quality Assurance department. Over the
years of working for us he ascended from tester to what was called a “Floor Lead,” which is in
essence an associate Project Lead who is in charge of implementing the daily work tasks to
testers, training and mentoring testers, helping with technical issues involving the testing
equipment and peripherals, reporting issues to the Project lead and in some cases to management.
Floor Leads are generally responsible for making sure testers are getting to the root of problems
which requires a good amount of critical thinking and problem solving, as well as working and
listening to them and guiding them on their next steps. Great people and communication skills as
well as the ability to work as a team member and leader are required to be a good Floor Lead and
I think that Brian was an exceptional one.
On a personal level, Brian is a very passionate, social, and creative. He is a great friend and good
to my family. Brian and I first became friends around our mutual interest in video games which
further involved trading card games as well as other interests.
If you would like additional information about Brian, you may call me at (310)343-6430.
Sincerely,
Brad Saavedra
