The Board of Education annually evaluates the Superintendent's performance against agreed upon goals and objectives in order to assess their effectiveness in leading the district. The evaluation criteria are based on the district's mission and objectives. The evaluation process provides commendations, recommendations for improvement, and serves as the basis for salary and contract decisions. Board members independently evaluate the Superintendent and reach a consensus. The Board president develops a single evaluation representing the collective judgment to provide to the Superintendent for discussion in closed session.
