2. I woke up in the dark. My head hurt. I was engulfed in the
overwhelming feeling of desperate panic. A voice spoke out. “Are
you lost?” Yes, I answered. “I'll help you find your way home... if
you find me before your time runs out.”

3. A figure jitted in and out of the corner of my
vision. I glanced back over my shouler, just in time
to see.

4. The boy. There he was. He was running. Too far to
catch. I took chase.

5. He turned a corner and I followed. Funny, if I
looked in the door to my right, I swore, I could
see him standing right there, laughing at me.

6. I stopped to take a breather in a hallway in a dark
building. I couldn't see much. The lights were dim.

7. I looked up. The boy was there. I jumped back in fright, scared of
the figure I'd been chasing all this time. I attempted to shut the
door in fright. He wouldn't let that happen.

8. I wrenched the door shut, backing away in terror.
The window crashed open. His body leaned in like a
towering shadow.

9. Take me home, I pleaded. The boy only shook his
head. His hand was sliding behind his back while he
spoke. “I found you first.” He taunted. His grin
had turned evil.

10. I stepped back in fear. He was holding an item too
evil to be true. Who was he?! I had no time to
think. I bolted out the door, looking back over my
shoulder to see if he was following.

11. When I arrived, I hid. I slipped into some bushes, and pulled back a
group of leaves to see out. Within minutes, the boy had come
back. He wandered around with an empty expression. I held my
breath, and could only gape as he turned the corner and kept
going.

12. I knew I was safe. I let out a breath, and sat back heavily in the
dirt. Something grazed my back. I turned around in an instant,
only to see a glint of metal in the dank light. It felt as if
something was blocking the sun.

13. Why are you following me?! I choked out as terrified sobs
threatened to overtake my body. The boy held up a finger
with a frown, tilting his head at me. “Don't speak now.”
He said softly, and put his arms around me.

14. I had no time to scream. I had returned to the
blackness.

15. Reflection

My photos didn't necessarily have a theme.
Instead, they were part of an overall plot, the
plot being of a girl who awoke in an
unrecognized land, being taunted and
eventually killed by a mysterious young boy.

Originally, they were a bit blurry, even with
the tri-pod, however, I used sharpen and
enhanced the clarity to make them as sharp
as possible (when applicable.)

Some of the lighting doesn't make sense with
its description or situation, however, I tried to
get different kinds of lighting within the
project, including a mix of backlighting and
hard lighting.

I tried framing in a few of the photographs,
however, not all of them have framing, if I
didn't have a good way to include it. The
compostions are made up of frames,
silhouttes, and rule of thirds photos.

I used photoshop and picmonkey for my
editing, though mostly photoshop, as my
internet went out.

I attempted to correctly enhance the contrast
and such, however, I wanted a “darker” or
more heavy theme in this, rather than clear
images. I tried to make them more dramatic
than anything else.


have 14. Oh, well. I'm sorry for the mistake.)
