4. My Consumer is a young woman who has a unique style and has the income to be
able to afford the clothes she likes. She is between 23 and 30 and works in a creative
field which is reflected in her lifestyle. In her home she has sculpture displayed that are
geometric and dynamic, think Eva Rothschild. Her home is filled with objects, but not
cluttered; though not a minimalist in the slightest she is very organized. Everything has
its own space. In terms of paintings her home is mismatched so the paintings depend
on the room. In the formal rooms there is abstract expressionism similar to Rothko
and in the creative spaces you find work more like Banksy’s. Even though my girl is
fashionable, comfort is key. Her couch would be structured looking but extremely
comfortable. She believes that functionality has its place in design.
Her favorite place in the city is a low-key hole in the wall. Think Lights of Soho during
the day, calm quiet café with soft live jazz playing in the background. She enjoys places
that can take her away from the everyday hustle of work and living in the city. She rare-
ly eats fast food however she doesn’t adhere to any strict diets. She eats clean the ma-
jority of the time but believes in occasional indulgences. Her general mood is calm and
unbothered. It takes a lot to impress her but this doesn’t mean that she isn’t quick to
crack a smile or a joke. Colors that represent this are shades of warm colors like orange,
red, yellow, etc. Can be warm and neutral. She likes an array of music but it’s generally
something she can vibe to, she has a motivational playlist, get hype, going out… the list
goes on. Her style is one that stands out, though it seems effortless, it is something that
she puts a lot of thought into.
