Word Orissa
Ms. Pramila Panda presented on WORD's coverage in Keonjhar district of Odisha, India since 2009. The coverage includes 30 villages across 9 GPs and 2 blocks, with 29 SHGs, 15 farmers clubs, and 1 regional farmers committee. A total of 495 farmers adopted the SRI method across 145 acres of land. WORD organized harvesting festivals in the 9 GPs and had a stall at the district-level symposium. Wheat was cultivated across 6.5 acres as part of the SWI program. News about the programs was also featured on Doordarshan Oriya.
SRI Drought Study Report

3. The total number of farmers covered during 2010-2011 across Kharif and Rabi seasons was 81,138 farmers.
