Body fluids are fluids produced in and circulated throughout the body, including blood, lymph, milk, and saliva. There are two main types of body fluids: intracellular fluids contained within cells, and extracellular fluids outside of cells. Extracellular fluids include blood plasma, lymph, cerebrospinal fluid, milk, and interstitial fluid found in tissues between cells.
