 Value adding trainings( selling processed
products like ginger candy )
 Agro-based industries (dairy farm, Oil
producing companies)
 Management of Market(internal and
International)
Capacity Building
 Farmers( Females and Males)
 Agricultural graduates as we work in farm tomorrow
through exposure
Providing opportunities to learn
Major Issue that should be discussed today
is
Migration
 Rural to urban and Emigration
 Half million of the Nepali have migrated in foreign
labor market ( Department of Foreign Employment)
 A serious problem in developing countries.
 Need of Urgent Advocacy
About Gender
 Women comprise 43% of the average
of the Ag labour force in developing
countries.
 If they have same acess to productive
resources they could increase Yield of
Farm by 20-30%.(FAO)
Effective tools
 Top down and bottom up approach
 Policy Dialogues among Scientists, policy makers and
with explicit participation of the Youth.

  • #3 Why YPARD?youth are often doing a lot of the work but not getting adequate recognition and their voice and key concerns are not heard nor taken into consideration. ‘Silent’ performers; passive participantsLimited access to trainings, meetings aor attending conferences like this one.It’s not always easy for youths to speak up in their organisations, to give their viewpoint, to ask questions or to voice their concerns. YPARD can help to allow them to discuss these issues with other youth are the key stakeholders for the sustainability of the ARD arena
