This document provides an overview of the BirthStory initiative, which aims to transform the way babies are born by empowering birth stories and accelerating the loving birth movement. It will do this through digital platforms like a magazine, TV show, and e-commerce shop that connect parents with birthing practitioners while reinvesting profits into research. The founders believe in an integrative, holistic approach and see Greece as an ideal location given current economic and healthcare challenges as well as strong cultural foundations in birthing wisdom. Their plan is to launch experiential events and digital presences to build an engaged community around empowering birth.
Building America’s Future: Prioritizing the Needs of the Construction Industr...Embassy Row Project
Navigating the future of the American construction industry means embracing innovative funding solutions alongside traditional ones. From crowdfunding and blockchain to public-private partnerships, it's time to build a resilient, sustainable future. Join us in exploring the finance models shaping tomorrow's infrastructure.
Vræyda Media Inc functions under a corporate culture of innovation, transparency, integrity, equality & flexibility. Read up on what makes us fantastic, and what makes our products phenomenal to read, hear, see & touch.
PCI Media is a non-profit that uses strategic communication including television, radio, and digital media to promote social change. In 2018, highlights included launching an LGBT human rights campaign in the Caribbean funded by the EU, and two cooking shows in Peru and Bangladesh through partnerships with the World Food Program to address malnutrition. PCI Media won 11 awards for its work and had its highest annual budget to date, allowing expansion of programs and staff.
The document discusses the importance of "educating the heart" in advocacy efforts for arts education. It argues that advocates need to reframe their messaging to focus less on new paradigms and more on how arts education allows students to fulfill their potential and contribute to building a better world. Specifically, it recommends advocates share personal stories of transformation through the arts on various online platforms to demonstrate the potential of creative engagement in education. The goal is to change hearts and minds by welcoming more people and telling stories in a generous, clear, and direct way.
The document discusses strategies for success in a changing world. It notes that the future is uncertain due to many ongoing crises and changes impacting society. It emphasizes developing "futures literacy" to better understand trends and possible scenarios. The key to resilience is embracing adaptability through diversification, proactive change, and adjusting needs. For individuals, organizations, and professionals, strategies include connecting with purpose and values, cultivating learning and relationships, and moving at a sustainable pace through periods of change. Overall, adaptability is crucial for navigating an uncertain future.

Dr. Edward Group III, founder and CEO of Global Healing Institute, discusses his career journey and the establishment of GHI. He realized the medical industry only treats symptoms and not the root cause of illness. GHI aims to teach people how to activate their self-healing abilities through cleansing, nutrition, and mental well-being. The institute provides online courses on topics like detoxification, fasting, and vibrational healing. Dr. Group emphasizes that the root cause of disease is toxicity and that cleansing is key to healing. He has received positive feedback for empowering people to take control of their health.

Thank you for the insightful presentation. I have a few questions:
1. How can mobile reputation systems address potential issues of bias, discrimination or unfair ratings?
2. What protections are in place to ensure users' privacy and prevent misuse of personal data in these systems?
3. Some argue these systems could exacerbate inequality. How do you respond to concerns about "reputation haves and have nots"?

This document provides an overview and summaries of sessions from a conference called "The Future We Want: a new paradigm for a sustainable 2050". The conference brought together participants from different sectors to explore ways to create a more sustainable future through new ideas in areas like transportation, housing, and energy. Participants engaged in provocations, group work, and panels to discuss challenges and opportunities. The goal was to spark transformation by increasing consciousness of interconnected issues and developing collaboration across sectors and generations.
The future we_want_toolkit_and_summary_5058661a7b622Dr Lendy Spires
The conference aimed to discuss how to create a new culture that enables the transition to a sustainable future. Participants were encouraged to think about what really matters and has value, and how current ways of working divide people and deny our interconnectedness. The conference sought to foster new types of conversations to drive collaborative change across sectors. Developing insight would come from considering perspectives across the whole brain, rather than taking only a linear, left-brain approach. The goal was to generate new revelations about how to build a more restorative system where business puts more back than it takes out.
How would you describe education? What is your interest in education? How can you contribute to the change.
A engaged group of entrepreneurs, public servants and represantatives of various Latin American cultures met and developed a vibrant experience. They developed concepts for alternative education approaches and why they are important for Out-Of-The-Box-Solutions.
This document discusses the critical role of the expat, transient, and cross-cultural community in addressing global challenges. As the world becomes more interconnected and people face issues like marginalization and a lack of identity, those with experience navigating different cultures have strategies to overcome such challenges. Now more than ever, this community is uniquely placed to bring hope to the world by sharing knowledge, inspiring passion, and connecting empathetically. Their experience living abroad has given them skills like curiosity, challenging preconceptions, and understanding other perspectives - skills that are needed to address today's global problems.

This document discusses strategies for understanding how the FLS2 gene is regulated without the influence of WRKY transcription factors. It proposes mutating the W box promoter motif to prevent WRKY transcription factors from binding. It describes conducting assays using leaves infiltrated with Pseudomonas syringae bacteria to measure GUS activity levels and FLS2 expression under normal and mutated promoter conditions. The results would help determine if WRKY transcription factors are involved in regulating FLS2 gene expression in response to bacterial pathogens.

2. OUR VISION birthstory
BirthStory will empower the birth stories of a generation to come by accelerating
an exponentially growing industry of multi-disciplinary practitioners.
We recognise the power of birth as catalytic; a transformative experience through
which caterpillars can become butterflies. Holding a space for both professionals
and parents, BirthStory will serve as a mentor and guide on this sacred journey.
It’s time for a more integrative and holistic approach to birth. It’s time to hold
science and spirituality in a single conversation, listening not only to the mind, but
also to the heart and the soul. It’s time to embrace the role of storytelling in
medicine. It’s time for BirthStory.
3. Today, we have an opportunity not only to imagine the future we want but to
actually birth it, one social movement and professional network at a time.
As part of the regenerative development of Euboea, BirthStory will contribute to a
vibrant culture and a dynamic community life for the loving birth movement in
Greece and around the world. Through a programme of world class event
production and sharing of peer-produced multi-media content, we hope to blur
the lines between activism and enterprise to deliver exponential social impact.
We believe in birth as a rite of passage; a physical, emotional and psychological
metamorphosis for every mum or dad. Where others see crises in Greece, we
recognise the opportunity for integrative and iterative new ways of living and
working. Speaking into this open space for bold new storytelling, our mission is to
change the world by transforming the birth stories of a generation to come.
Developing a new lifestyle concept
THE OPPORTUNITY birthstorybirthstory
4. What’s Possible : Connectivity
1) We face growing economic, social and environmental challenges.
Our response is to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem on a
bioregional scale that encourages new thinking and scalable
innovation.
2) Well-being is important to us. Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability
is a global marketplace worth $290 billion in the US alone. In this
context, loving birth is an holistic approach to healthy conception,
pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and baby care.
3) Exponential growth in technology is changing the nature of work,
connecting people in new ways and enabling accelerated learning.
4) A new ‘millennial’ generation of creative, socially minded and
information-enabled young parents and birthing professionals is
emerging who want to live purposefully in collaboration with like-
minded people and in harmony with nature.
THE CULTURAL TRENDS
birthstorybirthstory
5. What’s Possible : Connectivity
1) Inspired by millennials - Our target audience is a uniquely
purposeful and collaborative generation of 15 - 35 year olds who
represent the majority of today's child-bearing generation and are
inclined to collaborate within physical and digital networks like
BirthStory. In essence, we’re building a marketing platform which
connects prospective parents with the most loving birthing talent
in Greece and around the world.
2) Supported by elders - our digital marketplace and learning
network will nurture the loving birth movement by building on
strong foundations laid by pioneers in the field who have helped
to consolidate the wisdom of generations of ancestors who came
before them. We will curate a dynamic programme of networking
opportunities which accelerate the growth of this multi-disciplinary
industry by bringing the world’s most exciting practitioners to
Greece.

13. WHAT ARE OUR VALUES? Visit www.iocollective.xyz
The idea of building self-managing network-based organisations has
existed for a long time. The intention of BirthStory’s IO framework is to
translate what seems like a complex organisational model into
something simple and actionable. It comes down to three principles.
Freedom. Everyone has their own ship. When we all have our own ship
there is no reason to fight over the steering wheel. We just sail together,
sharing the risks and the rewards along the way.
Growth. We learn faster together. There is a commitment made
by all participants to not only share skills, resources and networks but
also to support each other in developing into conscious leaders who act
with both compassion and self-awareness.
Action. We lead by doing. It’s important to have tangible projects and
challenges around which the IO culture and community can be built.
When members can see and feel the impact of their participation the IO
values and culture will become contagious.

We are birthing a trusted online marketplace and social network which
reinvests a minimum of 50% of profits into ground-breaking research and
development, enabling the cross-subsidy of a leading edge birth centre
for Euboea and extensive advocacy work to help raise awareness of the
loving birth movement in popular culture throughout Greece.
Underpinning our platform will be an experiential marketing model that
generates genuine engagement and brand loyalty. Through highly
innovative and visible event productions, a digital magazine and TV
channel and a dedication to customer service we will tap into network
effects as our community and crowd spread the word on our behalf to
their friends and family.
Our goal is to become the leading e-commerce
platform and brand for parents and birthing
practitioners.
OUR BUSINESS STRATEGY
17. What’s Possible : Connectivity
• Our Vision. By combining a digital magazine and TV channel with an e-
commerce platform which re-invests profits into groundbreaking R+D, we
believe BirthStory can become a trusted source of shared wisdom and the
home of the loving birth movement.
• Our Strategy. We’re adopting a MVP (minimum viable product) approach.
We start by producing world-class events which convene a community and
crowd with unprecedented expertise and influence.
• Our Experience. We have a proven track record in running retreats and
micro-festivals, building multi-stakeholder communities and accelerating
startup businesses from the ground up.
• Our Networks. We have strong networks and connections to influencers
within Greece and internationally who are aligned with our vision.
• Our Home. Greece is the ideal location to launch a social movement which
seeks to bring together the world’s most influential birthing practitioners
and disrupt c-section rates of over 70%. On Euboea and in Greece, our
access to local support, facilities and knowledge is exceptional.
