Graduates of Atlanta Public Schools’ Class of 1974 Celebrate Turning 60!
Atlanta: Baby Boomers who graduated in 1974 will be turning 60 in 2016! To
celebrate that milestone, students who graduated in ‘74 from twenty-three Atlanta
Public high schools have planned a joint birthday party at the Georgia World
Congress Center, June 25, 2016. The public is invited.
The festive, throw-back evening will feature live music from Atlanta’s own
Theresa Hightower, and the Masterpiece Band, great food, a cash bar, and dancing
from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.00 each, while they last.

Birthday to ourselves and inviting anybody
else turning sixty to celebrate with us,” said project coordinator,
Johnny Floyd (Price, 1974). It’s always good to have an opportunity
to re-connect and celebrate all the good times, and everything else
we’ve been through. The world has changed so much since we
graduated. It will be great to see that none of us has changed at all!”
Photos and souvenirs will be available including the ’74 Birthday Bash Yearbook.
This first-of-its-kind yearbook will feature photos and brief bios of the 1974
graduates as they are today, along with fun facts, lists, and throwback photos that
defined that special year. Sponsorship packages are available. Dress code is
Festive Cosmopolitan.
