  Centrifugal Compressor

Centrifugal compressors are extremely robust machines that can be built for the compression of
                                                  various gases.
The casing design determines whether the compressors are categorised as horizontally or vertically split, each
type having different attributes and application limits. The advantages and disadvantages of each and the
feasibility of using a particular compressor should be considered with regard to the application in question.
Centrifugal compressors are used in a wide range of industries:
Oil and gas industry (up-, mid- and downstream)
                                                  Air separation plants
                                                  Chemical industries & Petrochemicals
                                                  Iron & steel, mining
                                                  Paper industry.

Classification of Centrifugal Compressors According to Design
Pressure [bar] Intake volume flow [m³/h]

  Axial Compressor

Axial Commpressors attain volume flows of 70,000 to 1,400,000 m³/h
and a maximum outlet pressure of 20 bar.

They demonstrate their high level of efficiency in a variety of
                                                  applications such as:
                                                  Air separation plants
                                                  Ammonia plants

                                                  Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) plants
                                                  Gas liquefaction plants.
