30 Seconds to Mars is a progressive rock band formed in 1998 in Los Angeles, consisting of brothers Jared and Shannon Leto and guitarist Tomo Milicevic. After signing with record labels in 1999, they released their debut album in 2002. Their second album "A Beautiful Lie" was recorded over a year in five different countries across four continents. 30 Seconds to Mars has won numerous awards, including four MTV Europe Music Awards, and over 70 nominations total, with 50 wins. They have sold over 5 million records and hold the Guinness World Record for most shows on a single tour with 300 concerts.
