Kazka aka Francesca Franzon was raised listening to rock and punk bands like Nirvana and Metallica. While she enjoyed these genres, she felt a need to explore new sounds and progressed to club culture in the late 1990s and 2000s. She moved to Milan in 2001 and began attending the legendary club "Killer Plastic" where she felt a sense of belonging. A 2008 trip to Berlin exposed her to techno and industrial music, which she felt truly represented her musical identity. By 2013, she had begun pursuing a career as a DJ, playing events related to fashion and art in Milan and Northern Italy. She was ready to release her debut single and had started doing international gigs, including her first show
