The BlueGeneration project aims to inspire young people to pursue careers in the blue economy through free resources like an online job portal, open online courses, career guidance, and study visits. The blue economy integrates several sectors like maritime transport, shipbuilding, aquaculture, ocean energy, and biotechnology that offer various job opportunities such as sailors, engineers, farm operators, and marketing professionals. The project provides personalized mentoring to help youth find training programs and jobs in areas like renewable energy, hospitality, and information technology.
