This document provides an addendum bibliography of books by African American authors and illustrators released between 2010 and 2012 that are relevant to the NBCDI 42nd Annual Conference theme "Our Children Deserve the Best". It lists several books for different age groups, including titles about basketball, hurricanes, the Black Panther party, friendship, wrestling, and elementary school teaching. The bibliography is meant to complement information provided in the Summer/Fall 2012 issue of the journal ChildHealth Talk.
